Building Regulations changes update Posted by Spencermayes, 19/07/2011

Shortly after December's announcement about domestic consequential improvements, the government made a further announcement, on changes to Building Regulations in England.

The changes so far announced are not major. The Approved Document supporting Regulation 7 has been rewritten on account of the new Construction Products Regulations which come into effect on 1st July, and this has also resulted in some minor changes to the wording of the other Approved Documents. Approved Document P has been revised as part of the government's deregulatory effort, and this change comes into effect on 6th April.
